SMG Insight’s global expansion continues with appointment of US Vice President
SMG Insight, the sports and sponsorship specialist arm of YouGov, today announces that Lance Fraenkel will join the business as Vice President, North America. Fraenkel was formerly Head of Client Service for YouGov’s combined US BrandIndex / Profiles business where he led cross-functional teams in achieving multi-million dollar revenue through market research consultancy with clients such as Google, McDonald’s, Omnicom Media Group, NBC and Bank of America.
Fraenkel’s appointment reflects SMG Insight’s continued dynamic growth as it expands globally, offering bespoke media and consumer sports research solutions to its broadening client base, which already includes the ATP, WTA, MLB and NASCAR amongst multiple other rights holders and brands.
As Vice President for North America, Fraenkel will work closely with Tracy Schoenadel, SMG Insight’s Senior Vice President, who continues to successfully develop the company’s presence in the region.

Prior to his position as Head of Client Service for the US BrandIndex / Profiles business, Fraenkel performed various roles within YouGov’s consumer research team, starting out as a an analyst in 2007 after graduating from Cornell University, New York.
